Well shit. It was just confirmed Tsuru Hiromi passed away today. She's the voice actress for Bulma and Julia Chang from Tekken, among many other great characters. I'm super sad now.
With the Dante and Reality Stone nerfs I might actually try ranked next time I play Marvel.
But I'll probably just lose a lot and go back to having fun in Casual.
I'm a little sad about a couple of the Dante nerfs, but on the whole they're good. The big ones for me are reality stone and thorns disappearing when you hit the opponent. I never liked that they were: zoning tools, combo extenders, combo breakers, and lockdown all in one. Taking out the combo breaker aspect makes me a lot less frustrated with them.

I'm generally a fan of letting things go unchanged for as long as possible unless they are problems that result in unbreakable match stalls or game crashes. Even MvC2 diehards could agree that the gambit glitch wasn't good for tournament play.
But I think these days with the power of the internet and anybody being able to create video clips of theory and post them for everybody, people get better at fighting games much faster than they used to, and more importantly, negative attitudes towards things can spread much faster than before. Choosing to just let it rock for awhile might just result in people leaving the game or the growth of the game stalling due to bad publicity, so it encourages faster patch times.
The rose garden was dumb strong, though. It's an awesome move, and I wish more characters had moves of that caliber, but I'm not surprised it got some nerfs.
BBCT's BB and UNIEL character picks have been pretty good so far!
I'm just still waiting for at least one of my BB mains/alts to get announced. Come on Hakumen, Amane, Mai, Hibiki, or Taokaka.
That'd be Hibiki or Izayoi for me, but I've played a lot of Blaz characters over the years, and would be happy playing damn near everyone. We've already got Rachel and Hazama, and I wouldn't mind going back to either of them.
From UNIEL, I'd probably like to see Yuzu the most, although I don't know how they could change her to make her not so impossible to use. Also Eltnum, but she seems very unlikely to me.

Without a doubt for me the character I want from UNIEL is Akatsuki, because even the tiniest sliver of a chance of the Blitztank making it into more games is a sliver I will take.
