Emojis cutting off posts

I was copy pasting a quote from another website that included an emoji and I found that it would not post the emoji.

eg: posting

"test test test :peach emoji: test test test"
will post:

    Anyway, not an issue really, but it was an unexpected result.

    There's actually a fix for this but it requires a potential momentary interruption of service. Tubes gotta pursue it through support.
