I don't know if it's because of the erratic update schedule or what, but I anticipate new Order of the Stick more than any other media I consume with serial updates. It's just so incredible lately.

I would honestly argue it's been incredible since about the point that Roy died.

It's been incredible for a long time, the only thing that brings it down is the inconsistancy of updates, but i endure that happily because its so great.

True, but I guess what I was shooting for is I can't remember anticipating new updates so much. Sometimes you can read a chapter, think it's great, but not need to have MORE RIGHT NOW.

Speaking of anticipation, it's still only been like, a day or two since the Godsmoot. I wonder just how long is left in story time, because this update implies that they are working on a limited time frame.

They also always have custom tags for each page that typically contain some sort of message, kind of like alt text. Today's really hit me

This is more or less confirmed as the final degression before the true finale so not much.

Sidenote when the Godmoot happen Rich mentioned that he thought there was only one or two years left which haha.

It's really scratching that Homestuck itch. The possibility that a new update could happen at any moment combined with the high quality of content in each update is a very specific kind of anticipation.

I was guessing 7 or 8 books, one for each of the demiurges, but I had no clue we're past the halfway point.

Guess there's gonna be a lot more demon killing from here.

Oh Abbadon was the one who made Glam Rock Gorilla? Now that you point it out the art style similarity is obvious but I never noticed until now.

I thought I was going to be mad that Lillian is covering like a solid 10 percent of her laptop screen with Ann’s card for no good reason (hey, Lillian, did you know you can put someone’s contact information inside the computer???) but then I realized that her word processor (?) has for mysterious reasons truncated her book’s title page? And has truncated it using three periods to represent two letters???? RAGE … RAGE …

An ellipsis is one character. The comics curmudgeon even managed to spell it correctly so I don’t know what their problem is…
