Does that cover have anything
to do with the story of that issue?

She was a crime boss for awhile, because that's what Catwoman was doing.
If they just flip the switch to her being an anti-hero again, that will be screwed up. Because she was a HARD EVIL mob boss during this time. Like... trying to murder Patsy Walker Hellcat's whole crew evil.
I actually liked her as a crime boss, but it didn't seem like anybody had any actual good ideas for what to do with her beyond the initial 'what if felicia hardy became the kingpin' pitch
it was the smallest on the list but
Pluto was a planet and I'll never forget
"We publish comic books for children and it would have been inappropriate for us to put a reference to hentai on the cover of our comic, so we didn't do that."
So a potentially Very Big spoiler for Captain Marvel got out via Funko Pop leaks
Jude Law isn't playing Mar-Vell
He is playing Yon Rogg
Which would make him the likely villain of the movie
i have no idea how invested in Marvel I would need to be for this to be parseable to me, but it is not my current investment
He is not playing the heroic figure that everyone assumed he would be, and that the marketing up till now has vaguely motioned at, but is instead playing one of Carol Danver's biggest enemies
So probably a big heel turn for him halfway through the movie
That Heroe's for Hire cover reminded me that there was a poster who defended it to the death, and then posted pictures of his bedroom wall that was just covered with various cheesecake covers from DC/Marvel.

Granted this is from July, but that John Ridley project might not be dead? Also, this is super weird
Loeb was also asked if Marvel will ever air the Marvel's Most Wanted pilot that ABC passed on back in 2016. Loeb said Marvel can't, as ABC retains some control over the ill-fated show.
"Thats an ABC question. We can't release it. It's sooo good."
I get that they're separate entities under Disney, but you'd think Marvel TV would have an easier time getting control over that show if ABC wasn't interested in showing it.
The fact that Marvel still has licensing issues within its own parent company is incredible.

That's capitalism for you. Everyone wants the pie for themselves and will do everything they can to get the most slices.
man it just dawned on me that the last cool thing felicia hardy was part of was the post-civil war heroes for hire
She was in Matt Fraction's very good Defenders book that got axed almost instantly
man i never got around to matt fraction's defenders after his iron man was just no good and then he followed it up with fear itself, which had exactly one good part

Defenders spins out of that and he clearly had a better time with less editorial oversight

He is doing Sex Criminals and Ody-C but hasn't announced new projects in a long time and looks like he is going to TV full time
Which makes sense as it pays a lot more
Wait what's he doing for TV
I know he and Kelly Sue started a production company to adapt theirs and other creator-owned work for TV. At the time it was announced, Sec Criminals was the main project to be adapted under a deal with Universal Studios

Kinda hard to forget she was seeing she was on one of the covers for it's World War Hulk tie-in(s) which ended up getting some flak for NSFW reasons.
Let's Play Final Fantasy 'II' (Ch10 - 5/17/10)
That would be Maria Vasquez, a heroic version of the Tarantula and apparently last seen in Secret Empire.

For some reason I thought this was already known for a while?
i wasn't sold at first but this is actually extremely readable. very much here for the taskmaster/black ant double act
i didn't like the very long slott run, and it was indeed very long, so it's cool to have something i actually like on the shelves again
also a really funny Ms.Marvel/Mr.Fantastic moment
She was in Matt Fraction's very good Defenders book that got axed almost instantly
Yeah, this has either been previously revealed or heavily speculated for a while

The last show he wrote for was that Da Vinci showtime show that Hickman and Brubaker also wrote episodes for
