Got caught up on the episodes and they’ve been doing a really good job with the AvB arc so far. Next week is gonna be nuts though.
Manga:
Nagant is interesting so far. Kind of a what if Hawks went bad for real type of situation.
Overhaul just being completely broken now is kind of sad tbh (Not to say he doesn’t deserve punishment, but damn.). But it is kind of ironic that he goes from ‘taking care’ of a girl he made bullets out of to being taken care of by a woman who makes bullets from herself.
We also now know the name of the 3rd’s power, but not exactly what it does yet. (Seems like some sort of building up energy to release in a burst of speed/strength? Must be something more to it though, since that seems kind of redundant with his other abilities)
lastest manga:
While it is technically redundant, it probably doesn't come with the downside of over-using the base One for All quirk
So uh… looks like they may be rearranging some stuff in the anime and That is likely gonna spoil stuff for the arc that was supposed to be starting next.

They're swapping the internship and My Villain arcs around, yeah? I'm honestly not remembering what gets spoiled in the internship arc

Well in this episode the references to the Deika incident and the entire opening bit.
The preview for the next episode
Had Hawks interacting with Slidin Go, Dabi, and Skeptic. So it is spoiling the League working with the PLF, which doesn’t happen til the end.

Manga
from what we saw, it's quicker to use but doesn't appear to be as powerful
My Lady now has a scar over her eye and changed her costume where it looks like she has a padded neck brace. Still healing from the Gigantomachia fight I guess.
I haven't really bought Deku's transformation into solo vigilante but him vs Class A should be a fun fight.
From what I've followed on the manga, Deku really needs to get his head pulled out of his ass the hard way. Him going solo is just so breath-takingly arrogant, so completely condescending, disrespectful and insulting to the rest of Class A that he 100% needs an ass kicking.

Also
I get, and I think his classmates also get, that he wants to not put ANYONE else in danger, but Bakugo is right (for once) its hazardous to their own health, and Class A needs to, if not outright beat him, exhaust him so he passes out and they can restrain him to a bed until he gets like 16 hours of sleep and a hot meal and also brings at least 2 others along with him at a time when he goes out patrolling

Edit: And a shower
That's fine and all, but what he's saying is that he thinks that nobody else on Class A is strong enough or can be trusted to stand at his side and have his back. This is the same Class A that also got jumped at by the League several times. So, the difference is:
Deku letting the whole Heir To All Might (tm) thing go to his head.
His unresolved trust issues.
Point 2 means that he really needs to see a therapist, but point 1 can fuck off, then fuck off some more, then go all the way to the start, and then fuck off again. And apparently the only way to have that happen is for him to get his ass handed to him.
Hmm maybe, I'll have to go reread it, but that wasn't my take on it
It is an uncharitable view, I'll admit. My guess is that Deku never dealt with the degree of separation that came from having to lie to everybody about his Quirk and how he got it since he couldn't tell them the truth. So, he was around these people, but never was completely honest with them, never came to completely trust them, so a part of him grew even more isolated and resentful, since they could be happy and not have this whole thing on their shoulders like he did. So, on typical shonen style, the way to reach the heart of another is by fighting and yelling stuff really hard.

I think with Deku
He's basically letting himself be a doormat again, just in a different context. He's not standing up for himself. He's putting his own needs last and is burning the candle at both ends.
You can't do that, you have to take care of yourself before you can take care of others. This is basic needs shit. But he isn't doing this because he's arrogant or he's letting things get to his head, he's just...minimizing the worth of his own life compared to others.
Right now class A needs to save Deku from himself.
Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.
knows he is AllForOne's target and anyone around him is in danger, so he's doing everything solo, while taking personal responsibility for saving everyone from the villains released by AllForOne and his minions.

He’s doing the same shit the others heroes told All Might was a problem; trying to be the pillar of society cause he thinks only he can stop One for All. And that is wrong and a dangerous and harmful thing to do.
So I came into this series after S4 was already complete. Can anyone tell me about the pace of the anime vs the manga? Is the anime at risk of overtaking the manga at some point soon or is this bi-weekly schedule keeping it ahead of the anime?
By and large the season breaks are helping keep the anime from overtaking it. The show goes on break for half a year or so between seasons and Horikoshi and his staff have the time to make more chapters even with time off and Jump’s holidays
Yeah the manga just recently finished the arc that will likely make up all of next season, and is a bit into the next story arc
I also wouldn’t be surprised if they do a few episodes beginning of next season that adapt a short flashback arc from Vigilantes that becomes important for the main story.
Is giving me strong Spider-Man vibes right now. Great power great responsibility stuff. And just like Peter needs to be told to tone it down a bit so does Deku

Manga
Stain appearing too, appears to be following Deku and All Might. I’m guessing he ends up being the one to finally get through to Deku here.
Also I bet we end up with a brand new costume by the end of this since his is busted to hell right now.
I think
I really liked how the puffball on all their santa hats were appropriate to each person.
I'd just be interested in the two of them having a conversation.
Hawks has a nasty scar on his chin from Dabi.
Kamui’s arms are still bandaged up too.

Corny, but it worked for me all the same.
Or Mineta or Kirishima oddly enough. I'm assuming we'll get them next chapter.
