An Unusual Question

LarsLars Registered User regular
It's Halloween Night. A killer breaks into your home. The only way they will let you live is if you answer a simple question.

What is Pauly Shore's best movie?

The killer asking this question may, in fact, be Pauly Shore.

The movie must feature Pauly Shore as a primary character, so Encino Man and a Goofy Movie are out as he was a secondary character in those.

Hey Lars, why the heck isn't A Goofy Movie an option?

I reject this reasoning. The movie is named after his character, it counts.

Excuse me but I think you mean The Mummy's Monster.

Wait, no, crossed wires with Frankenstein.

But Fraser's the guy who fights the mummy.

And they were and it was actually pretty okay as far as dumb comedies go.

I like Lane Smith. He was great in Lois & Clark. But near the end of Son in Law where he has a line where he talks like Pauly Shore, I think it physically hurt me.

Wait I'm misremembering that. For some reason I always think Pauly is the Encino man.

Next option is Son In Law.

I'm going to be pedantic and say it's Fraser. A very good Canadian name.

of these, son in law is obviously the best but nobody would even remember Encino Man if he weren't in it so it should be on the list

  • LarsLars Registered User regular
Psycho Killer Halloween Murderer Pauly Shore only included movies he was the star of.

Also Encino Man would have crushed all other poll options if it was in, with the possible exception of if Goofy Movie was also in.

Anyways, so far it looks like most people would rather be murdered by Pauly Shore than name a best Pauly Shore movie.

Though in @LarLar 's favor, more people would rather die than associate LarLar with Pauly Shore.

Oh he also keep staring down the dress of a lady on front row of the comedy club. And asked to check if her breasts were real. To which he bafflingly got the affirmative on.

Look, if you're edged cause I'm wheezing on your grindage, just chill - cause if I had the whole Brady Bunch thing happening over at my pad, I'd go grind over there.

I have never seen a Pauly Shore film and I resent this killer ambushing me when I cannot answer their question because of this lack of knowledge. I think the killer should go find someone else who has seen a Pauly Shore movie and leave me in peace.

One time in Vegas (maybe 7-8 years ago) my friends and I somehow ended up with some free tickets to see Pauly Shore do "stand up" at Planet Hollywood.

The warm-up act was pretty solid, but holy shiiiiit was Pauly Shore bad. About 90% of it was him telling "jokes" (complaining) about how hard it is being a washed-up actor who still gets recognized on the street, the other 10% was him telling "jokes" (complaining) about how much his dad sucks.

It was in a pretty big venue that was standing room only, which I absolutely couldn't believe till I realized probably nobody in the room actually paid to be there (and half the people weren't even paying attention).

Other than Encino man, biodome was the only movie of his that I've seen. I don't remember the movie at all, though.

If that's all there is my friends, then let's keep dancing
