I played a guy that got 2 in his sealed pool and it was the stupidest shit
Only got to cast it twice, but it swung the game easily both times; first for X=2 to snag a Guildmage and a 4/4 flying/vigilant Sphinx token, second for X=1 to get a 5/5 hydra flampler. Made it to 7-1. Now for a new pool, Orzhov with Ethereal Absolution + creatures (what more do you need, really), splashing for Rakdos and some Get the Points.
I also opened Rakdos + Mirror March; are they paired or something?
I paid and got the $5 welcome bundle. I went straight for the sealed event and got 2 Kaya's Wrath's, a Domri, Biogenic Ooze, an End-Raze Forerunner, and another rare I don't care about. Cool stuff.
What's really got my mind going is that I got 2 Gate's Ablaze and 7 gates to play with. This is probably not the format to really get these things going, but I'm really tempted into going with a controly build.
I could just go Gruul with a splash of blue easily too. Hmm....

Until you hit Gold it's literally impossible not to gain rank, so anything you're playing against in Bronze and Silver is probably an untested deck. Not to say there can't be some sweet Antiquities War list that can shark the meta, but pre-gold is jank paradise

Because I ran into proper-Teferi deck whilst in Copper, and that was very much disappointingly not jank.
Need to play more there though.

I actually ran into a few meta decs while I was in bronze. I guess they were late starters or something.
Also btw you can lose ranks in silver, I dropped from s2 back to s3 once. You just can't fall back to bronze, I think.

7-1 with removal-less RGu (for the counters =flying dude). Probably about as aggro as sealed will let you run.
5-3 with Simic jank. The classic sealed problem of great cards spread evenly across every guild. Only saw Zegana once...in a hand I mulliganed.
5-0 so far with a spicy Orzhov stall deck splashing for two of the 2/5 unblockable vigilance dudes. Have other good Azorius choices like the arrest variant, but my base removal is already great and I need ways to win.
2 of my losses came from Mass Manipulation, X=2.
1 came from Biogenic Ooze (my first deck that had only 1 scorch mark for removal).

Ill-gotten inheritence is weird in that I think super aggro and super controlling decks want one, but I think its mostly filler in typical limited midrange strategies.
You'd usually rather just have a dude. Its hard to interact with, but also can't block and doesn't put the pressure on the opponent as hard as a 3/4.

It's minus one to them and plus one to you and gives the reach once they get to 4 life. It keeps you alive, activates spectacle, and it kills your opponent.
It's pretty good in limited.

My pool had Hydroid, Familiar, two sharktocrabs and 3 of the 2/2 adapt-to-wurms. It was glorious. I activated a Sharktocrab twice in one turn mmm so sweet.

I had exactly this happen my last game; I was off to a slow start and getting beaten down by flyers but managed to attrition at bit and slow the bleeding with Inheritance and other incidental lifegain. I don't think my opponent realized we were racing until they were at 5 life during their turn and couldn't get the kill; passed the turn, upkeep trigger, POW drain for 4.

Don't get me wrong, the decks that want it, do really want it. It is also much better in sealed as games stall out more often. I would love one in my current Orzhov build of all removal, lifelinkers, and big butts. In most draft style mid-range decks though?
