I really want the Saints to either win the SB, or not go at all. Mostly I want the Saints to win cause they are my team and I want them to do well. I also really want them to win in Atlanta for reasons that are not at all petty, or rooted in rubbing it in the faces of Falcons fans. Any year is a good year to win the SB, but this year would just be a bit better. Losing in Atlanta is unacceptable though. They might as well not bother if they can't push all the way across the finish line.
I want rams chiefs . Two good young quarterbacks going at it. A chance for Andy Reid to choke on the big stage. Plus I'm a dolphins fan and loathe the Patriots , hate seeing this ageless brees continue to be great when Miami chose Culpepper over him.
"As the 2013 NFL playoffs begin, the Miami Dolphins, aiming for their 3rd straight Super Bowl championship, sure are glad they gave quarterback Drew Brees a second chance at that physical back in 2006, sources close to the team confirmed Friday.
Also, the Florida sunshine cleared up that thing on his face too." - Profootballmock

Sadly, this could be a real headline. I always hated that they chose culpepper over brees. Put brees in a couple of the dolphins teams over the years, and there's a chance they actually challenge the patriots for AFC domination.
Things probably ended up the way they should have. Brees has been immortalized in NO after that super bowl year, and playing a dome has probably helped him as well.
But as a die hard dolphins fan, I'm still a little salty over management.

Like seriously fuck all the other stuff around the NFL in the past years, the officiating is what's been killing my interest in the sport at a rapid rate.
Watching live it sure looked like DPI, so I expected a flag and then the replay would show some crazy thing making it a bad call against LA. And the replay just made it so much worse.
But the reason ratings are down is players taking a knee...

edit: well that at this GMC tailgate commercial.
Also, it seems pretty clear the NFL has stopped giving a fuck about "safety".
There were a few piling on the QB's that would have been fouls early in the season.
And a crapload of leading with the head, initiating helmet to helmet.
I mean, I'm not particularly fussed that they weren't called (and it would have been against both teams), it's the inconsistency that bothers me.
I try really hard to avoid peddling in conspiracy theories and theories about "paying off" refs because, like, come on... that would be extremely hard to actually do without people noticing, and you'd still have to win the game in some way.
But between last years AFC championship game where the Pats won and the refs celebrated with them, and this bullshit...
Also it's distressing that three of the four announcers this week suck.
Oh, I was pissed about them having Aikman on the one game I gave a crap about. Stick him on the Chiefs/Pats game, so I don't have to hear his moronic ramblings.

When your team isn't playing well (like my Packers) and you start to watch other games but have no real vested interest in either team, the constant miscues by the refs become glaringly obvious and it really does turn you off to the whole thing (at least it does for me).

Or when youre like me being a fan of a team on the outside for decades and seeing how often a single bad call or well-timed holding on 3rd down to continue a drive can completely decide a game.

The nightmare ex-Seahawks hire is Tom Cable, not Bevell.

It’s my stepdad, thinking a replay of the week 6 Pats-Chiefs right now is the AFC championship.

I must admit I was confused when I first saw it and have thought about switching it instead of watching this interview with John kerry

Hey the NFL is terrible, huh

Pats are going to crush the rams.

If the Patriots lose tonight, I was going to cheer for the NFC.
After that non-call, if the Patriots don’t win, then I hope that KC goes all the way.
