It never ceases to amaze me just how narrow the margins are between a successful play and a complete failure of a play in the NFL. For everyone who complains about the refs or how the league defines a catch/pass interference/whatever, keep in mind the NFL is literally played at the limits of the rules almost all the time as that catch showed. Policing that behaviour is hard as hell.
It amazes me that the Rams have all these big names on defense and they still give up 25 points a game. It won't surprise me to see the Hawks hang at least 30 on them the way this game is going.
not going for it and then playing ludicrously soft prevent defense allowing them to easily move down the field without even burning their timeouts while goff hadn't been able to read the standard defense at all the entire night.

He was out of the pocket and the hit wasn’t late. Hard to say it was the right call but whatever. Refs are gonna get calls wrong. Part of the game.

i don't think so. some qbs get that every time maybe, but wentz gets hit in the head far more egregiously than that all the time and they never call shit.

If they go up 14-0 it’s obviously a completely different game. The early defensive stops, especially the first one with a short field, were huge.
yea, but goff is trash, which is why they weren't up 14-0. he can't read a defense at all and stares down his receivers over and over.
the universe punished them for not going for it on 4th down with that miss.
Edit: if the hawks win this it better be by 1 so that the cowardace of the field goal is offset by the cowardace of not going for 2
