It's certainly irrefutable that the population has shrunk since the dreaded announcement, but I think you'll always reliably be able to find games. At worst you might struggle to get good matchmaking at the low or high ends of player skill. It'll never be part of the zeitgeist again, but if you have fun playing HotS then you should just keep playing HotS.

I am debating about buying a few heroes Mephisto and Alexstrasza I get them infrequently in the brawl so I feel I might as well get them for real and instead of just wildly guessing at builds and what to do I could learn in a few games

For the record, I was playing a healer and I was very intently focused on trying to keep my team alive while losing the game horrendously and also trying to keep my cool at the same time all while in a very hectic teamfight
So forgive me if I wasn't able to reply to your whisper and forgive me if I didn't want to play with other people at that point because I was tilted off the face of the earth

You're specifically naming and dragging people in your post because they either didn't want to play with you or didn't respond to you. The way I see it, you could've just made a post saying "I messaged several people and no one responded", but you felt the need to specifically call me/others out for this. To me, it reads a lot like you're blaming them.
I'm really not understanding why you're taking an attitude with me, here. Then again, maybe that is the problem.

I see people boasting about their mega guilds of 350+ in classic wow I know they are full of cliques as I dealt with that in the train wreck of a guild as an extreme back in vanilla
Heyo! Ironically, I think I was afk doing laundry and saw the invite when I got back. Sorry bud! I deffo don't ignore anyone when they ask. I'm definitely guilty of not paying attention if I'm in game. I assure you that I'm not cliquey tho!
Last night's teams were PANTS btw. Holy cow. I did herd my final group of cats to victory after several impressive losses.

Also I will just alt tab a lot and I don't get messages/invite pops for some reason while I do that.
Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.
Everybody is entitled to not feel like grouping for any reason or no reason whatsoever. You don't need to get upset about it. If somebody consistently doesn't respond after a couple attempts, just stop asking them.
And about one Brawl a week I end up with an AI partner that will alternate between abandoning fights to stand next to a Fort or charging in by itself and feeding.
