yeah I think every threshold he pops a new damage mitigation so the strat Is to wait until after his first one drops and go from as low as he can be above 80 to 0 in one chain with cap. (I used citra with rainbow whip for sealing and then leviathon to cap)

now for beasts I guess the trick here is to get 4 element resistances above 125 for the entire party and then sleep?

She already has 150% Stone Killer innate, I don't think the extra stone killers are entirely necessary, especially not for any of the content that we have now.

try to get everyone with over 100% for fire, lightning, dark and water resist after buffs (or close to it) and bring an aoe cover tank. have charm protection.

If you have her, sylvie as a buffer is basically meant for this. Esther is also good because she is immune to lightning which is one less resist you need and her lightning element keeps ifrit from being resummoned.

don't break siren (no aoe breakers) and only push 1 threshold (20%) for ifrit at a time. then, once you get him low enough just aoe Lb chain and kill ifrit followed by siren eventually. keep track of buffs each turn for everyone since there is a charm protection dispel and an aoe dispel.

Of course, 5 or 6 runs of Ultima Blade was getting me crap, so the next 2 runs of Muramasa and Bowie Knife hit on rares. Not complaining though. Sylvie really like the Bowie Knife as her LB takes a ton to build up and she's pretty tanky as is and normally doesn't need a shield.

Greg 2.0 down again, this time all missions. Got the 2nd one when switching to an Ice item vs dark. And the LB one was the most painful weirdly as trying to raise LB's without getting him to his thresholds proved to be a challenge.

What I had to do was use Wilhelms's maxed LB with Sylvies rotation of DM, Buffs, LB to survive his transformation. Then it was just a matter of waiting out his immunity again and then using everyone's LB.

did beasts of the dark II and one shotted it but I forgot to summon both espers so I had to redo it.

and then I failed like 5 different times to the turn 8 attack from not paying attention...… oh well atleast its done now. only warden walter left and I'll be all caught up.

Hot the rare mod on Lust Dagger. 10% HP, 10% DEF, and hightide+. Very happy with that roll.

Got Alpherg. I had no idea what his abilities and patterns were. I also kept fucking up in various ways. Still got all missions because my units are so very OP. All I really did right was pick the right units and right gear, and that's because I copied Sinzar.

If you use android, download an app called Photo & Picture Resizer. It literally does what it says, no cropping required, just cut it by 50% and post away.

Turtled my way to 5 LB, then unleashed the bunny (along with Fina LB) to kill from 83% ... didn’t even need the stun from the third item (was expecting to need to finish the round after LB)

Why the heck are arena tickets limited to 10 ticket multi summons? I have over 1k of these damn things. Let me multi at least 50, maybe 100.

Is most likely due to the non-limited and "useful" nature of the rewards. It wasn't a resource that was expected to be hoarded.

I have 188k Arena Medals and 1.3k Arena tickets.

And I don't need them at all because I have 4 rows of maxed king pots for each stat. And another few rows of non-maxed king, middle, and tiny pots. I could fully pot out 7 or 8 units right now. I have, in fact, been dumping stat pots on 7* I think might be useful in the future, but most of them have been powercrept.

Ended up getting a rare on my Beach Umbrella for a total of 37% ATK and 20% HP. I wish it was on the Greg 2.0 katana but I'll take it.

I got a rare on Excalibur (2-handed), but then 15% more HP. I figured it was a wasted run till the last roll. I guess 20% attack is enough and I can use it for Esther when she needs to be super tanky.

Never really intended to hoard them. I just never used them because the rewards were shitty originally and by the time they updated them I had too many tickets to reasonably pull them all 10 at a time.

Even 50 at a time would be so much nicer.

The daily half price summon has been oddly generous to me lately. I got back to back rainbows on Thursday and Friday, both off banner, of course: Olive #4 (That's a nice STMR under the right conditions and will go well with Balthier's STMR, which I also have) and PG Laswell #1 (meh). I was joking about my luck with my brother this morning, and then ended up with a blue > gold > rainbow pull: Yego #1. Her TMR is kind of odd. It seems to only be fully useful for herself. Bart could use it for the whip mastery bonus, but he wants to be dual wielding. Two-handed weapon users would like the other half, but none of them want to use whips.

On the other hand, she's riding a Malboro, so still good.

Edit: I just saw her victory animation, and now I want to use her. So good.

What is "soon"? Makes a difference; there's basically a banner with an upgraded version of any role coming sometime by September. So if 4 months is soon, then yes. If you just mean within the next month, there's a pile of FF VII units (Aerith, Red XIII, Zack, Yuffie), Regina for huUUuUUuge finisher DPS, and maybe a collab for Octapath Traveller coming up? I think Octopath is getting a PC release sometime within the next month or two, so if they're going to do that collab, that would be the time for it.

You have 7* Sylvie right? Sylvie and Aerith are pretty much a perfect pair in that each of them covers what the other doesn't. Also, Aerith does have a 100% Light imperil to go with Sylvie's Light imbue, so even on the offensive side they match super well.

Yeah, I'm going hard for Aerith. She brings the AoE Re-raises, 30% general DM, and decent finishing all in one package. Sylvie and Folka have some overlap in ailment and break protection while missing that general DM.
