Ugh. That was miserable. Everything good had some bad to go along with it. A Breath of the Wild sequel is great but a little underwhelming when it looked like DLC. Animal Crossing moved to 2020 hurts. I approve of the Smash characters though, no complaints there.
If the new Zelda game's a sequel to Breath of the Wild, why wouldn't it look like Breath of the Wild?

I would expect that from a direct sequel. It's just not a very exciting reveal when it looks like it could have been DLC.

Pretty great direct. Square and Nintendo saved E3 from being a completely boring pile of nothing for me.
No Pikmin 4 or Retro game.
I think the dream of Retro having anything ready to go is dead and we'll just have to wait until Prime 4.
I mean, even if I didn't personally care about some stuff, this Direct was obviously pretty good.
