Updated my Ground Slam guide to 3.8, it got only buffs this league (except for flesh and stone, but you can swap for Arctic armor for more consistency)

Apparently Spectre breakpoints for +1 max are 21 and 31. Level 21 gem + Ascendancy + Level 4 Empower is 26. The last 5 you can probably get from wands and uniques without committing to a bow, which opens up Spiritual Command Shield Charge.

Only issue there is that HoA usually wants more supports and higher reservation to be worth it.

    Regarding poison Ass weapon choice

    Dagger
Better DoT damage, amazing with Perfect Agony numbers wise.
Access to nodes along lines already travelling.
Has closer nodes for projectile skill gem-based synergies.
Could path through some extra life.
Has access to an extra strength node

    Claw
Better hit damage, with Perfect Agony it's okay.
Access to a better set of skills in terms of closeness (Claw wheel as compared to 3 separate clusters).
Wonderful for Viper Strike and new Melee Poison skill probably
    Life on hit

Daggers end up with more damage with crafted corroded weapons while claws do more damage with basic uniques. The difference is ~10% on both end. The biggest benifit of daggers is that they will almost certainly be way cheaper than claws.

And it's not really a trade off. Life leech and gain on hit mean nothing when you get one shot.

Venom Gyre looks fine, Plague Bearer looks very meh, Withering Step looks quite tame especially if you are playing Venom Gyre since you want Withering Blades for that. However, Cobra Lash and Nightblade are actually pretty insane. A dodgy Deadeye can be a very strong Cobra character - 40/30% dodge from Acro/Phase Acro, average of 10/10% from Nightblade support gem, 16% spell from Atziris Step. Then just wear a Kintsugi and get as much life as possible.

Also you're ranged and fast as hell, so you can just not be where the damage is a lot of the time. Decisions decisions...

Kintsugi is a good choice, actually! I'm going to try and be cheeky and use a Yriel's, I can always swap it out if I feel a little squishy.

Here is my Deadeye, is there anything you would do a little differently?

    Fair.

Malevolence would be a better use of that reservation I think

Bino's Kitchen Knife spreads poison on kill. Does that conflict with the Pathfinder node for spreading poison on kill?

i dont think you could stop them doing damage, they would be out there murdering families unless u kneecap them with shady support gem choices

just put all 5 into a 6l with elemental legion, command them to debuff for u only

    MINIONS... DEBUFF FOR ME

I have no idea what I'm going to try and do this league. I keep thinking poison pathfinder would be cool. But also new mines might be spicy. But then looking at a couple 3.8 league starter videos and I remember how smooth bleedsplosion gladiator always feels. But also necro is going to be swole this league, and I just don't know.

So with ~25k evasion, 40% to dodge attack hits, and 30% to dodge spell hits, how squishy will I be in SC?

Depends on effective life, life max, life on hit, life on kill and life regen. But in SC, you only need survivability when you get to yellow maps and the XP loss starts to really hurt your struggle to get to level 95.

Every league for like past 4 I'm all "This is the one! This time I'm getting to Shaper"
Then I take like 3-5 days to get through the story, get burned out on Delve and yellow maps, go play other games, and don't come back for like 2 months

I didn't even get 12 challenges done this time because I got back into Destiny and Mario Maker 2

I’m thinking of taking an old tree for quill rain poison assassin build I got from a build guide and revamping it for venom gyre. Poison is completely detached from the hit damage right ? Might just stack crit multi and speed and stack a million poison stacks on everything.

169% life, 300k poison dps against Shaper (using Spectral Throw as a temp skill until they put Cobra Lash in Path of Building), at level 90 with one point free.

I'm done. Poison has a ridiculous number of damage nodes to choose from across the tree that it is legitimately a pain in the ass trying to find which ones are worth pathing to.

Half my damage does come from Witchfire Brew & Coralito's, however, but then Witchfire is Witchfire.

God I hope coralitos doesn’t blow up now that it will be semi popular because there is no fucking way I’m pathing to perfect agony . It’s a million miles from anything.

But using a Witchfire means I get to use Malevolance while still gaining Despair, and a better leveled one at that.

Perfect Agony's not in the worst spot, since there's a crit wheel and life wheel right next to it. But yes, I don't allocate it either if I can help it.

That feeling when you find 20k more dps through tree pathing optimization because you allocated a single +10 INT node in the new path, causing Dendrobate's INT threshold to get passed :D

I'm not using Dendrobate cause I already got like 805% Increased Damage with Poison, and other stuff seems like it will be more interesting. Plus I don't wanna look like a Final Fantasy character straight outta the mid-90's.

Trying out Assassin for the first time given Elusive, and Cobra Lash since it had a very Spectral Throw-like look to it, plus the built in multiplier.
