The new MA3 story seems pretty fun so far. They've got a two guys and a girl roomies set up, with the young guy crushing on the girl, the girl crushing on the older guy and the older guy is gay. So it's not quite DiDi/Zii/Gary but you can see the similarities. So far my guesses are that the guy, despite being an annoying creep, is actually gay and doesn't know it. And the girl is probably gay too (or not, but I just want wrestling girl to be happy).

I mean, aside from cosmetics I'm totally fine with purchesable inventory
considering literally every weapon and frame is freely available for a certain amount of farming (with no bullshit 0.5% drop rates) just having a place to keep all your shit instead of deleting old stuff is reasonable
and especially so since there's no "real money only" currency, the Platinum you use to buy inventory space and also everything else is tradable for grindable Prime parts

The main problem is that's a very easy area to do a "we create a problem and then charge you money to fix the problem" trick. Same with games that offer XP boosters...after slowing down XP gain so the game is a grind if you don't buy it.

yeah, in warframe's case since the only monetization they have at all is buying inventory space, shortcutting timers and buying cosmetic stuff, I can tolerate it, but it's definitely obvious that the limited inventory and timers to build things only exist to create a reason to pay them for more space/shorter timers and I'm sure under very slightly different circumstances I'd find it annoyingly manipulative. Not sure how they threaded that psychological needle for me.

What was that gun frame that's an absolute ass to farm? On the tip of my tongue, some geological term
Mesa's awfulness has waxed and waned. Before Nightwave she was in a pretty good spot for farming, since you only needed one of the drop per run and only one person in a group needed it (so everyone brings 1 gets you 4 runs and every run drops one of the three parts at roughly equal rates). And the drop for it was usually available automatically a couple times each week on alerts (I think it was alerts? Something). And then of course Mesa Prime was easy enough to farm (or as easy as primes ever are).
