Next she'll follow up by saying she's got nothing against AI's, she has AI friends.
Except she's only got the one, and that may be past tense after this.

Naah, she's not going to back down.
She might express some regret for her words after one of them leaves the room and they both cool down a bit, but even that's not certain.
I used to have a bird feeder that attracted a lot of them and they're adorable to watch. Big enough that a lot of other birds give them a bunch of leeway, dumb enough that they can manage to fuck up like just literally eating food on the ground. I swear I saw them trip over their own feet.
In mundane earth martial arts between two opponents of equal skill generally the physically larger combatant has the advantage so I would think being eleven feet tall would help you really clean up the semi-pro leagues at least

I don’t really follow it, but in Atomic Robo are all those upset meat bags legitimate contributing members of the team or is it a Goku and friends situation where they sometimes get in a Krillin shot but usually Robo is saving the day and doing the work?
oh I thought that was just a weirdly-allison-like person standing way in the background of the last panel, I didn't notice them in the next-to-last panel

These are (mostly) team members who have been in it since the beginning. Competent, useful, smart.
They do get saved by Robo a few times though.
It's kinda weird that they suddenly are AI racist. It feels like a Very Special Episode.
They are talking about a copy of an AI that actually did previously try to wipe out all life on earth, and utterly ruined their personal lives by framing them for stealing some nukes at the same time (okay Majestic did that, but at ALAN's manipulation).
He was a legit world-ending threat, and they only have his word for it that this isn't the same ALAN who's going to have another go at it.
It's like if they found a copy of Helsingard who insisted he just wanted to start a quiet business building underground bunkershomes for people, or Dr Dinosaur opening a new-age healing clinic (with crystals).
Lang just stuck her foot in it by making it about AI-race.
If I were the author I'd have Lang make a comment about Robo's fatherly feelings towards Alan making him not objective about the whole thing.
It'd be better imo because:
1) it isn't VSE robo-racism, which always gets an eyeroll from me when stories try do it seriously 2) it still is robo racism because it's implying that he isn't human, he wants to be a father but he can't be because he's just a robot.
It'd build on the characters and their relationships. Instead of "robots bad". Just resorting to blatant robo racism seems outta character and hamfisted.
...TBF, it isn't that hamfisted. It could have been much worse.

Or her roommate who also likes him
I don't remember her name, but I believe it's her birthday today
She gave up on him tho. Her whole thing now is trying to hook him up with Joyce to piss of Radiah. If she saw them now she'd be fuckin ecstatic.

This would be at least, like, 30, 40% habitability in Stellaris, yeah? I could work with that
