Is there a reason why 626 sounds so freaking familiar to me?
Except Raynor.
Raynor's a vulture, isn't he?

Yea all the Terran fluff is very blunt in saying that almost all marines are criminals filled up the the eyeballs with drugs to keep them under control.
Well he OWNS a vulture doesn't mean he is one.
But also a marine on many missions.
Goddamn you, nephews and nieces for ingraining that into my mind.
And a Battlecruiser!

Since when are the Terrans the good guys?
Well Jim and his marines are good guys.
There are no real Good guys in all of starcraft, only good men. Raynor, Fenix, Zeratul, Tassadar, that one zerg thing that got assasinated.
Raynor's Raiders are the good guys, yes. The vast majority of the Terran forces are the bad guys. In fact, pretty much the entire story of Brood War was "let's trick this one group of bad guys into killing this other group of bad guys" repeated ad nauseam.
Since when are there good guys in Starcraft?
Oh, and the ONLY THING I was hoping for was seeing some Supreme Commander shit with the Battlecruisers. You can't even see them until it blocks out the fucking sun, and your little zerg hive is toast.
I suppose gameplay comes before testosterone, but goddamnit I want my shit to scale.
I guess now I'm going to actually have to develop a little bit of skill at RTS games. I love playing them, but I'm horrible as soon as I have to focus on more than 3 things going on at once.
the only reason i can think of is stitch from lilo and stitch?
I suck so bad at RTS though. I mean, I think it is just a character flaw that I have. Once I have more than 2 hotkeyed groups of units, I start to lose focus. It kinda drives me insane.
I hope I can enjoy this despite my lack of skill :P
To be fair, WC3 has a less steep learning curve than SC.

You can always get involved with the UMS (custom maps)
No, that's exactly how I see it.
Well personally I prefer playing single player and with real life friends who suck just as much as me.
My dad's almost 60, he got into SC at about the same time as me, and he does 1v7 comp games pretty often. He's less into the multiplayer because he can't stand anyone on it, but seriously, they're a game. If you can play Monopoly, you can eventually manage any RTS.

At the part where the immortals show up (right after the tanks blow up the zealots) you can see a holographic nova doing the female night elf dance from wow.
Why not form a team of friends who fight random people? A clan, if you will.
That requires me being good at RTS' before I consider it. :P
Actually, back around the end of highschool a few friends and I formed a team for the 4v4 ladder on battle.net for WC3. We played a grand total of 3 matches, with one loss, one lengthy victory (that involved the other team quitting), and one where we ended up with almost no resources on the map and having to clear out a bunch of tower-whoring.

Which asks a new question: will nova appear in the storyline like thrall did for WC3 and WoW?
You sir, are retarded,
Retarded and ANGRY!
Looks like it's just a map object. It's not a terran unit, since the immortals were right next to it and not attacking. Blizzard's used those for subtle easter eggs before.
Let's keep the flames down guys. We don't want this thread to become like the last one.
My bad, I don't usually post. I'll just go ahead and lurk more and keep my mouth shut.
But it is also possible that she's in the story. Just because she's a map object doesn't mean that's her role. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if that map object wasn't available in the release if blizzard decides to give her a role in the story.
Speaking of Tychus, it's hard to say how he'll turn out. Yeah, he has a hefty rap sheet, but it's probably not that different from, say, Han Solo's. Part of me sees him as a "good guy" in the sense that Sin City's protagonists are "good guys" (not afraid to break more then a few laws or kill people they see as total assholes, but still holding some significant moral codes that keep them from looking like complete villains), while another part of me thinks this guy might try to screw over everyone when he sees an oppurtunity that greatly benefits him. The strength of the former is dependant on the context of the crimes he's done.
Maybe she's that Ghost standing behind the old man in the art?
