Nintendo just announced their summer lineup and it seems like MP:3 will be coming sooner than I expected.
Also, they finally announced Picross for the US and gave a firm release date for Brain Age 2.

'ello, what's all this then? Hopefully not just another Battle Network games.
It's the continuation of the Battle Network series. New story and different perspective in battle.
Basically the same thing, though.
Hmm, dang. I just want a new sidescrolling Megaman on the DS dammit. Oh well, least then I wont have to worry with getting MP3 and 3 DS games in the same month.

You should all run out and get Picross. So much better than that boring ass Sudoku crap, I mean do you get a pixel elephant at the end of your Sudoku? Do you?
Throw in the vast amounts of puzzles, daily brain-training-esque stats and nice online elements and you have a mighty fine package. And a pixel elephant.

i wasn't going to reserve it at work because it's $10 and i thought they were lying about the date
also, so us europeans get it like 2009 right? fuckin nintendo
Metroid Prime 2 was released in Europe eleven days after US.
MP1 was released in Europe 4 months after US. Also MP2 was a 60hz only game (i.e. no PAL conversion) so I'm not holding my breath for a simultaneous release of MP3.

I'm glad Metroid has a date and I'm even more excited that it's in the summer. Everything else on that list is kinda bleh to me though.
Makes me wonder if they decided to wait and see when Halo was shipping to announce a date for Metroid. Last time, Halo 2 ate Metroid's sells something awful.

Funny, no mention of Hoshigami Ruining Blue Earth Remix(DS)... I guess that's going to be kind of under the radar, though. Should be coming out July/August.
Other than Strikers, Bwii, MP3, and Madden 08, there isn't a lot for me on the Wii summer list.
EDIT: Also, it looks like September will be Console FPS month for me. I'll be playing MP3 starting september 7th, and then, as soon as I finish it, Halo 3 should arrive.

guess i will now
also, where the fuck is Mega Man ZX 2?
Picross is so much fun.
2009 is a year of Updates - one every Monday. Hopefully. xx
RE4, Pokemon Battle Network, Manhunt 2 for the Wii...
none of those are notable
I mean, maybe Mario Strikers Charged
but those three definitely aren't
also, so us europeans get it like 2009 right? fuckin nintendo
Hopefully some more notable releases will be coming soon.
Hooray for those with heliophobia. Besides, Nintendo has the pokeymans, so it'll be at least a few months before they even NEED to release anything.
Nintendo to buy August?
EDIT: Plus we all know, deep down, that we're really waiting for Aug. 14. High School Musical: Sing It! is gonna be the Halo-Killer.
Score another point for Nintendo.

Indeed!
Big, notable releases for July and August; nothing for September. Hey, two outta three ain't bad.
Nevermind, found it: http://press.nintendo.com/articles.jsp?id=12200
Pretty weird that they put stuff like Brunswick and Dave Mirra on there and failed to mention confirmed titles like Harry Potter, Pokemon, & Sims 2.
