    Let me find that interview.

By Mainstream DCU, I mean as a vital part of a series. Such as his role in 52, and Countdown to Adventure.

Not his little cameos in Identity Crisis and the such.

NRAMA: Focusing on the story now -- how did the idea to focus on these nine characters in particular germinate? What characters out of that group interested you the most when you started -- and which ones grew on you as you went?

GM: After the first story conference, I remember thinking that all the plot threads were so strong I wouldn't mind writing any of them. I wound up with the space team because Animal Man was in there and the only way Vertigo would allow us to use Animal Man prominently was if I wrote the character.

The second series got up to #171

There were only four series so I don't know what you mean by "most of the #1s"

    unless you're counting mini-series

Every time I saw a #1 of pretty much anything as a kid, I picked it up.

Swamp Thing was one of them. Though, this was about 12-14 years ago, so I don't know what series it was. I think I got it for $.25.

    I actually have Superpro #1. :P

I have. I thank God they were other people's copies.

You want me to pick a highlight? The covers are nifty. That's it. I just don't like the character, or Slott's writing on this.

If you can't find the humor in some of Slott's She-Hulk stories, like Spider-Man suing J. Jonah Jameson for libel, then you have no soul.

I read the last She-Hulk issue and thought it was really bad.

Which is disappointing, considering how ridiculously awesome the book was when Slott first started writing it.
