The devs were attending the fan event, so without them they may not have felt it worth securing the reservation at the restaurant.
There is an unofficial fan gathering being put together on the FFXIV PAX discord and reddit. Once we have more details, I'll post here.
What: The Unofficial FFXIV Fan Gathering
Where: The Kings Dining & Entertainment, 60 Seaport Blvd (10 min from BCEC)
When: Friday, February 28th @ 7pm
We will be meeting in the BCEC lobby at 6:30pm to head over as a group, but people are welcome to meet us there. The venue is open to all ages until 10pm. Since this is not official with Square-Enix, you don't need a registration or a PAX badge to attend. However, you will have to pay for your food/drinks/etc.
