2. Carefully designed new character (see fig 1)
3. Magus Tom Pendennis reading very interesting-looking book
4. Under-table angle worthy of The Magnificent Ambersons
5. Person in fedora. TRAY mysterious?

Now a page that could have been, and let me put this plainly, dull as ditchwater, is instead as rich as fruitcake. My gift... to you.

The Patreon post for this page says "HP's design actually has several little tweaks".

Directly comparing this page and an older page, the only things I'm seeing is that she lost the shoulderpads and her gloves are longer.

I think her outfit and Undine's are slowly starting to look more alike. Undine started by adding the puffed sleeves to her outfit, now HP is joining in by having her gloves extend similar to Undine's, and as mentioned removing the shoulder pads. I wonder if we're at 'final form' team uniform or if there are more adjustments to be made.

I wonder what their team name will be.

I would be fully on board for the next weeks worth of comics just being the entire cast being tossed one by one onto each other

I would be more chill about this situation if Willis hadn't listed a mysterious trigger warning at the start of the chapter. Is that even a thing? Some elements of this may be triggering (to who? for what reasons?) He says "a sustained sense of danger" but not "thrasher film" (did he mean slasher? isn't thrasher like a skateboarding term?) stuff.
