And here I’ve been calling him etcetera the entire time!

I know it sounds dumb, but I try very hard to make all of my hero profiles "make sense" thematically. Like skin + mount is pretty standard, but then I need the banner to be on point, ideally a spray that fits the character I'm using, and an announcer that ties everything together.
If I have an announcer that is also a playable hero, that announcer always announces for him/herself.
I mean, I think it's pretty clear, with the snowstorms popping up, that they're getting ready to announce something. All of the "leaks" I've heard seem to indicate folks seem to think this will be a multi-hero release, and that tracks with the fact that there are three new videos: you can imagine one is an announcement trailer, for example, and the other two are hero spotlights.
Multiple Hero releases? In Heroes of the Storm?! In the year of our lord RNGesus 2020?!?!?!
That's a good point, it's 2020. So in that line of thought, what would be the absolute worst two heroes they could release? I mean basically nothing good happens this year, so why would good hero releases happen? What do we think? Worst two heroes, go!
The worst possible release would be double Nexus original characters, hands down. Hell, I'd go one step further and say any double hero release that includes even one Nexus original character would be worst case scenario.
But if we're talking real, actual characters from Blizzard properties, I'd say it probably couldn't get any worse than like, double Overwatch: Baptiste and Moira.
The worst would be no new heroes and just hero reworks or new skins and mounts.

Honestly, I kind of wish that they'd port over the Officer Dva skin from Overwatch. I really dig the ED-209 mecha and I think that Dva looks sharp in that outfit.

It's a possibility, and I wouldn't hate it necessarily, but I'm of the opinion that we have plenty enough maps at this point. Maybe even too many. I'd like very much for Blizzard to better balance the existing maps, frankly, before thinking long and hard about developing more. And even then, there's no scenario in which I'd ever want a map over a new Hero.
I’ve never seen the snow fall until the wife was commenting on it yesterday. I didn’t realize it would snow the entire game, which was giving her a headache. Maybe it should just be a quick Blizzard winds moment before the match starts.

Aren't all the maps symmetrical? It do you mean something else?

I'm not sure if this is what ducks meant, but there's at least a couple maps that actually aren't even between left/right, interestingly.
I had been referring to balance with regard to objective strength (Cursed Hollow first objective routinely claims 2 Forts, while many other first objectives can only destroy one set of Walls/Towers) primarily, but there are other balance issues worth mentioning: many maps are symmetrical, like you said, but consider that some others are flipped, featuring a kind of reversed symmetry. Braxis Holdout is a good example; if you're playing from the Right side, your offlane can pretty quickly/safely take his easy camp up top, but the player on the Left side will have a difficult time taking his Hard camp efficiently. That plays into the matchup pretty significantly.
I am always grateful to have a twin blades Varian in my team.

There are definitely enough maps already, I'd say. But I bet they could do a lot with map skins. Like a version of Braxis where it's set in Stranglethorn Vale and the Zerg wave is actually just a big ol' pile of murlocs, trolls, and the occasional stealthed rogue.

I think we have about three maps too many, in fact

Nah but see, "Elite Tauren Chieftain" isn't the Tauren. That's the name of the band. The Tauren's name is Chief Thunder-Skins.
But no one knows who the fuck "Chief Thunder-Skins" is. So they created a mascot that represents the whole entire band named "Elite Tauren Chieftain".
Confused yet?

I'm assuming Chief Thunder-Skins holds the rank Elite Chieftain, and the band is named after him.
