the old god prophecy stuff is Lost-style mystery box writing, write out the mystery without a solution in mind and let people stew over that, maybe you'll think of a way to retroactively make it clever later.

All those things would have been great, especially because they got people both talking about the plot and theorizing about it. Which is usually an indication your plot is legit.
Except it became obvious that shit was only written by people who had nothing to do with the story and they sort of kind of knew a few footnotes. Likely before any rewrites.
It gets passed off as the whole "old gods just know all the possibilities, not the outcomes" but lets be real. Stuff like that is just background fluff, and when you write clear hints about what is coming you fully intent for them to both be somewhat true, and for players to have fun figuring them out.
What was even worse was the stuff in that Ogre journal that was in I think BFA prepatch. Some of that stuff was legit for the BFA main plot, some even alluded to things that happened in Legion and what they meant for later. Some just never came to be.

Here's the real question. Will this WoW expansion feature a giant rainbow terrain feature with sapphic flower imagery splashed everywhere while two women hug each other tearfully? Completely platonic friends of course. Personally, I'm hoping for something tasteful in Maldraxxus.
to be HONEST i think everyone was doing a good job and if we'd had a clean p3 with everyone up (and like... maybe a spare brez...) we coulda/woulda easily won
i'm glad I took survival to aotc but i think my warlock is close to doing equivalent dps like 20ilvl lower and bad secondaries lol
i did shit for piss damage and then discovered it's because I used my cooldowns on the ranged adds instead of cleaving onto the melee ones and now i don't feel bad anymore
I was reaching some bad anxiety levels because of the prospect of getting cut and I realized that wasn't a healthy way to interact with y'all so I yeeted myself preemptively, but it still leaves me bitter that I missed the kill. Was having a great time up to the last few pulls where the specter of cuts was looming and I kept fucking up. Oh well.
everyone is welcome to hate me if they want; this is probably my last tier doing the de-facto 'raid leader' thing anyway, to the small degree that we actually do that sort of thing
I just have some brain spiders about getting cut, not anyone else's fault or problem. Sorry for being a downer. Good work tonight, congrats on the kill.
