    this isn't what I'd call "butt-rock" at all

    Butt rock is a joke that originated from 90s/00s modern rock radio stations advertising they play “nothing but rock”

    It is very much referring to 90s/00s modern rock top 40 songs.

    maybe, but as far as i'm concerned, if it wouldn't make sense to play over a cutscene or level from Shadow the Hedgehog, it's not not buttrock
