The only things I know for sure are of the new releases on streaming services (taken from my list above)
Netflix: Vampires vs the Bronx; Haunting of Bly Manor; Cadaver
Hulu: Monsterland; Books of Blood; Helstrom; Bad Hair
Amazon Prime: Black Box; The Lie; Evil Eye; Nocturne; The Craft remake
Shudder: The Ghoul Log; Scare Me; The Deeper You Dig; The Cleansing Hour; 32 Malasana Street; The Mortuary Collection; The Creepshow Halloween Special; May The Devil Take You Too
I wanna try to watch most of those:
Haunting of Bly Manor is the followup to Haunting of Hill House, and Mike Flanagan's been doing a good enough job so far in general that I'm real interested in it more than anything else on the new list; Straightzi had a good mention of the Monsterland anthology season in the shows thread; Books of Blood is a new adaptation of the Clive Barker anthology;
Bad Hair from the Sundance festival is Justin Simien's second directed film, his debut was Dear White People. Cast includes Kelly Rowland, Vanessa Williams, Laverne Cox, Lena Waithe, Blair Underwood and Jay Pharoah; I had a good writeup/preview of the first part of Welcome to the Blumhouse, 4 of Blumhouse's Amazon Prime contributions (Black Box, The Lie, Evil Eye and Nocturne) this month, in the last film thread. Blumhouse has had great releases, good releases, and bad releases. With 5 new films out this month, I'll be satisfied if one or two are at least good, and I'm particularly hopeful about The Lie and Evil Eye;
The Craft remake was a thing I just found out about, Blumhouse also made it. Cast includes Cailee Spaeny (Bad Times at the El Royale), Gideon Adlon (The Society), Lovie Simone (Share), Nicholas Galitzine (Share), David Duchovny and Michelle Monaghan;
Shudder's contributions include Scare Me from the Sundance festival starring Aya Cash (The Boys); The Mortuary Collection is an anthology with Clancy Brown and has a 97% (!) on Rotten Tomatoes; 32 Malasana Street is a creepy-looking haunted house tale filmed in Madrid; May The Devil Take You Too is the sequel to the 2018 Indonesian May The Devil Take You and while I never saw that, director Timo Tjahjanto also made The Night Comes For Us and the one good segment of V/H/S/2 (Safe Haven), so I'm psyched for more from him; and
The Creepshow Halloween Special, an animated special that was just announced as being on the Shudder schedule last week, and has 2 new story adaptations, including "Survivor Type" starring Kiefer Sutherland as a man determined to stay alive on a deserted island no matter the cost
Oh, nice. I bought a ticket for The Mortuary Collection at a drive-in in Chicago next month. It was one of two that I decided to book well in advance, just because it looked interesting enough.
I'm not sure terminator dark fate is a horror movie but it is good to know it'll be on hulu soon, been meaning to check that out
It is on Hulu as they put it on at work and talked about how "woke" movies are and why it's so bad
I ran out of reasons to roll my eyes at them long ago. I gave up pointing out where they get thier info from is making them very insular and other things
Yet it still continues

Perfect TV scene? Tywin berating Jaime while he dresses an elk.

The "They only want you because you're a baby factory, oh wait no, women can be important resistance leaders too!" Plot, plus the extended sequence of crossing the Mexican border into America, getting caught by border patrol and then liberating a concentration camp.
Maybe add in a little bit of Carl effectively being an ace man in a relationship.

Wait how is dark fate woke?
Because it stars women doing heroic things that's all
They had problems with Arnie's terminator being a sewing enthusiast.
And others I blocked and chose to forget

They put on Bright and had praise for it {this is brought up a lot}

I will say it felt a bit like Dark Fate was... trying very hard, at times
If you can get past that feeling it’s a pretty great flick, but it was something I was conscious of

Yeah I ended up enjoying it, and the terminator itself had a really neat hook that upped the ante quite well. Dunno yet if it will end up taking up space on my BluRay shelves like the first two movies do, but at least it's a possibility, unlike the third and fourth movie.

Dark Fate is my third favorite Terminator movie, simply because the infiltrator units actually do infiltration.
Either that or because 3, Salvation, and Genisys were still fresh in my mind and I just needed a not-dogshit Terminator movie.

WHen they had Sarah actually reduce herself to a
womb, and gloss over the fact she is was a leading action lady who saved and trained the future resistance leader, I lost all interest.

I actively started to check out of the film when Sarah said that line, it felt so out of character. Also I really didn't like the Arnie bot character ("oh, turns out I'm actually a good guy now who knew") so kind of everything past the forest cabin.
It's fine overall, but eh. Everything since T2 is just chasing after it and ends up falling on their faces, unfortunately.

My big problem is that they introduce Mackenzie Davis to be this epic bad arse in her opening scene and then she really doesn’t do much else until the end. She feels so wasted.

Also,
for the T-800 model 101 to be capable of learning, Sarah Connor had to go into it's head and change a setting (Director's Cut of T2: Judgement Day), but the unit in Dark Fate never has that happen to it, so it should not have been capable of learning or growing emotionally.
The Terminator in T2 says it is a learning computer. The conversation between it and John in Mexico is pretty relevant.
Yes, it says it is an advanced AI that can learn. In the Director's Cut scene at the abandoned gas station: "Terminator explains to John that its CPU is a learning computer, but Skynet disables the learning ability when Terminators are sent out alone, with Sarah remarking that Skynet doesn't want it's infiltrators to do any thinking. When John suggests that they can reset the switch, he and Sarah operate on the Terminator. She removes part of its scalp, opens its metal skull, and removes the chip inside, shutting down the android completely. However, to John's horror, she wants to destroy the chip with a small sledgehammer, because she doesn't trust John's new friend. She wants to use this opportunity to disable it, but John convinces her that they need it, and that if he is to be a great military leader, she should start listening to some of his ideas for a change. Reluctantly, she concedes, and they reset the switch and reinsert the chip."

That's the director's cut, it's arguably not canon.
Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.
I've never seen the director's cut of T2 and I never got the inference that they removed their capacity to learn. Because they specifically say their ability to learn makes them better at infiltration and killing.
I'll be happy to watch the movie again though to be sure, it's been a few months.

In the original movie the T-800 never says it IS learning, just that it can.
Director's Cut or no, there's no reason Skynet would send out Terminators without any instructions post-successful killing. A loose Terminator floating around that can develop morality and work against it is stupid. It was an excuse to include Arnie. In no world would Sarah work with the machine that butchered her son or develop a grudging respect for him.
T2 rounds the series out nicely, and it's easy to just stop there.

They are keeping the logline under wraps, but I’m told that the story will further explore the mythology of the characters, including Mufasa’s origin story. Moving the story forward while looking back conjures memories of The Godfather: Part II, set on the African plain with a continuation of the tradition of music that was a key part of the 1994 animated classic, the 2019 film and the blockbuster Broadway stage transfer.

the latter, it is the 11th highest-grossing movie of all time unadjusted and the 20th adjusted
it at most cost $350-$400 million to make if wikipedia is to be believed (250ish to make plus 145 in marketing), and made 1.6 billion.
