i promised a donation to some police officer's foundation near me
they called back later and were like ummm hi
maybe they came to the door i dunno
i couldn't find a website on them so i didn't want to give them any cash

Supposedly a significant donation to those kinds of places will get you a nice big bumper sticker that will get you out of a decent amount of trouble if you get pulled over. I have never bothered though, because the only cops I worry about around here are such douchebags that they wouldn't even care.
Edit: Also, I drive like a grandmother, 5 over the limit.

The bumper stickers aren't nearly as effective as FOP cards. And most highway cops could give a shit about your FOP card.

True enough. I wouldn't park my car in a ghetto too long with something like that. Of course, the closest we have to a ghetto around here is Shamokin/Coal Township, and I get strange looks around there anyway because I'm not inbred three generations deep.
