I'm pretty sure all of us only exist in one person's head, simulating a reality where an internet message board exists and is populated by other sentient beings.

I stare at the ceiling waiting to fall asleep and I wonder "Who the fuck would imagine me staring at my ceiling in a dark room wondering where I went wrong? Then, who would imagine me doing that and thinking that at the same time? That person would have to be really rough off if this is their happy escapist fantasy..."
About that time I roll over and fall asleep, I assume that the person imagining me has had their fill of their imagination insulting them and is instead focusing on cat-girls or something.
