Old megason game

Hi,

There is an old game I used to play that I can’t remember for a long time.
You start with a spaceship which can go on the ground or just underground and as you go you suppose to collect your legs, body and hands to make a robot. Which shoot more then the ship you start with.
There are certain enemies who shoot black bullets (something like that) and they drop down to hide.
Each time you get hit, you lose one body parts until you are a ship again.

Anyone knows what it is? Please!!!

I don't have a name for you, but I do remember seeing a video of what was almost certainly it a while ago. I'm not sure if it was here, though.

Megason was a bootleg Famicom clone right? So probably an NES/Famicom game?

Free form, you drive from left to right and the screen “closes” behind you.
You can move up down left right but not go back to an area that got “closed”

This is not the first time this question has been asked in this forum. The game must have had a lasting impression on people haha.

It was one of the few NES games I owned. I honestly don't know if it was actually a good game, but I have fond memories.

WiiU: Windrunner ; Guild Wars 2: Shadowfire.3940 ; PSN: Bradcopter

Yeah, I was reading this thread, and was thinking, "Waitaminute, I actually know this game ..."
