Everybody has to travel to PAX, be it across the country, across the ocean or across the street, and most of us will listen to music while we do it. So what will you be listening to on your way to PAX and what do you think we should listen to.

I'll start things off here
The Presidents of the United States of America - Highway Forever, 5,500 Miles, Lump, Peaches and Munky River.
Grandaddy - El Caminos in the West, Moe Bandy Mountaineers, Florida and the Nature Anthem.
Soul Coughing - El Oso (album)

That's all I've got for right now, but I'll post more as I come up with it. What will you be listening to?

Ya I am with Leaf, some bluegrass would make the miles melt away… Then again Recruits suggestion of Sesame Street is priceless.

Last year I went with theme songs for many of the games I have played over the years along with a few Monty Python's sketch… I mean how can you beat someone trying to get a refund for a Parrot that might be plausibly dead.

The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?

My friends and I always play 'pass the iPod' on road trips. What we do is just keep passing the iPod around the car queuing up an on-the-go playlist that's a few hours long. It's nice hearing what other people pick out of your music collection.

My favorite road trip music always includes:

    Against Me!
    The Bouncing Souls
    Weezer
    Saves the Day
    Wu-Tang Clan
    Supergrass
    The Beach Boys
    Lawrence Arms
    The Clash
    Gorillaz
    Of Montreal
    Elvis Costello
    Descendents
    etc...

We also keep a running tally of the bad/joke songs play and honk the horn for how many bad songs are played, each time one is played.

Despite how depressing Hissing Fauna... is lyrically it is really one upbeat record perfect for a road trip. Most of the songs are about how his wife cheated on them and they divorced, but they're back together so it has a perfect ending I guess...
