For me it's more:
Metal
Death Metal
Power Metal
Bluegrass.
Yeah you heard me.
Last year I went with theme songs for many of the games I have played over the years along with a few Monty Python's sketch… I mean how can you beat someone trying to get a refund for a Parrot that might be plausibly dead.
But it's not dead. It's resting.

That showing enough loving to the people across the pond?
<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3
Clearly not! :P
Well, I don't know. I took from both sides of the pond. You only have one side. I guess that counts.
You forgot Iron Maiden.

Look for us in the pink at PAX '08!
My favorite road trip music always includes:
Against Me!
The Bouncing Souls
Weezer
Saves the Day
Wu-Tang Clan
Supergrass
The Beach Boys
Lawrence Arms
The Clash
Gorillaz
Of Montreal
Elvis Costello
Descendents
etc...
We also keep a running tally of the bad/joke songs play and honk the horn for how many bad songs are played, each time one is played.
Despite how depressing Hissing Fauna... is lyrically it is really one upbeat record perfect for a road trip. Most of the songs are about how his wife cheated on them and they divorced, but they're back together so it has a perfect ending I guess...
Boards Of Canada
Björk
Brazilian Girls
Fujiya & Miyagi
Freezepop
I have a feeling They Might Be Giants might make an appearance as well...
And if I feel like watching anything, I've got a few episodes of The Office to keep me unaware of how much I hate flying.
Jimi hendrix, Killswitch Engage, Lynard Skynard, Mushroom head,Chevelle, Damageplane, Hatebreed, Linkin Park,Evanescence, Optimus Rhyme, MC Frontalot, Drowining Pool,Power man 5000, Prodigy, Rammstein, Rolling Stones,Neskimos, Minibosses......
You want to talk about all over the radar...
The first 4 artists in my collection for the longest time were as follows:
AC/DC, Bach, Cab Calloway and Daft Punk.
