Their alpha darts towards Lyn, banking high! Flames ignite from within it, causing its maw to glow white hot! It ejects a ball of pure force at the monk.
Lyn! You suffer 10 damage!
The hit was aimed perfectly for your chest! Make a Strength saving throw! 8 DC. On a fail you drop a valuable item!
The remaining creatures high above you all conduct an evasive pattern. They Dodge.

Lower Pack
This alpha instead unfurls its many tendrils and fires weird green electrify towards one of its pack (#2). A bubble forms around it, pulsing with energy so potent you can hear it crackling.
The creatures fly in unison towards you all and each spit a barrage of bright force! Rapid fire fills the sky!
Everyone except Lyn, you suffer 2 force damage! No roll to hit, no save against it.
If Sug and Maggie want to drop Ryder off on a rock so they can fly and fight, feel free. I can take a few shots with the rifle, will probably aim for the alphas
Ryder sees the lower alpha discharge the energy into its pack. "Yeah, that's a problem that needs to be dealt with." He focuses and aims at the creature and fires the rifle with a thunderous boom.
Fighting Spirit to get advantage on the attack and 5 temp HP.
You fire the gun one handed, causing you and Sug to spin in the pale green air!
As you come back around you see the massive hole driven through the beast. After the deafening gunfire’s echo drifts into momentary silence you beasts violently collapses inwards, then explodes in a shower of orange goop!
The critter it was connected to by weird energy spasms a moment before ‘falling’ away.
The force of the exploding alpha causes a nearby rock to be pushed away. Without friction or gravity, there’s nothing to stop the rock trailing away at a fair speed!
Oh, I wanted Cyr to fly towards the creatures on my turn and then take a dodge action, since I didn't think I could get close enough to hit them in one turn.
Sug flies Ryder over to the league rock that was still stationary. Tapping his earpiece, "Everyone come land on this rock. Once we do, try to explode one of those Alphas, send the rock off closer to the observatory."
Using action to dash because need the extra movement to make it all the way there.
Lyn zipped closer to the large alpha, trying to stay near enough to avoid more ranged attacks. She could keep it between herself and the other creatures, but didn't have any clue how to manipulate it otherwise. Also, with her communications device no longer operational, Lyn had no idea what the others were planning.
So, she defaulted to stabbing and kicking it a bunch.
Forgot to actually say I'm using 1 ki for Flurry of Blows.

Regardless of whether or not Lyn is mouth grabbed by the upper alpha, Maggie decides enough is enough and casts magic missiles at the alpha. Can't be trouble if it's gone!
The tentacles critters fly towards Sug and Ryder, but Sug clobbers them away with his improvised club (Ryder). They’re out of the fight.
Lyn grabs the alpha by the mandibles, forcing its mouth to stay open. It pushes her down against the largest rock, but she manages to find footing against it… and so it begins to be pushed down!
Lyn! With the broken physics of this plane, you’re positive you could push off the rock and fly the alpha wherever you like! You’ve reversed its grapple, and can freely choose to let it go and move away on your next turn, or move it where you want it.
Lyn needed both hands free to keep the creature at bay, glancing longingly at the spear now resting by her feet. Once she realized the rock she'd landed along was now being pushed through the sky, she shifted her weight to redirect its path. The others should have a clean shot at it when they fly by, as she used the momentum to propel her rock along their original course, towards the observatory.
