I think it might be from a lot of people are asking the AI for "Loab" and it's now associated this woman with just requesting an AI-generated picture in general.

I'm pretty sure there is more than one webcomic whose humor stems from random, bizarre scenery intermixed with philosophical dialogue that goes nowhere.

Somehow I'd missed the Kris had signed this (and therefore drawn it) until reading the post. He really did a bangup job at mimicking Mike's style (or within Mike's experimenting sphere). Which makes sense, given that it had to have an actual PA strip panel in the middle and doing it in a different style would just have a lot of people confused.

Also, even before Jerry basically wrote it, I thought, "oh, Kris was involved, no wonder this haunted AI Art cryptid was the topic."

Tycho's intention to replace Gabe with an AI (and the strip of two days ago) are even funnier given that he brought in a ringer (we shan't use the hateful nickname) to replace sick Mike.
