Well we got an answer to another Chainsaw Man pretty quickly. And I get the sense that we were wrong and that girl will turn out to be the Justice Devil. Maybe part of her power is granting an already-existing devil power to a human?
Or she's the famine devil afterall and her power is the balance between giving (powers) and taking (powers)?

Chapter 112 was pretty dense. I'm going to have to think about all the threads woven here.

It's famine and people are confusing her for justice because of the scale earrings. As in, the people in comic are.
Case in point: All the girl could think about was eating her friend after she became a fiend. Denji and Power were not like that.

Yeah it's definitely true that those two had full-blown panic attacks. I guess I kinda just dismissed them as little better than a couple of redshirts who somehow managed to survive. Maybe they'll play a more prominent role going forward.

i don't think there's a single panel where she isn't tilting her head to one side or the other. They're scales.
There's also so much food talk and imagery flying around in part two (how many chickens have we seen?) that I gotta lean towards them being Famine, even before we get around to what Yuko was saying in her last meeting with Asa.
Also I said this in the other thread but the payoff for the "doesn't chainsawman eat people" gag has gotta be that fake chainsawman has absolutely been eating people

Weird thing to say I know but I feel like they cut out some of the eternity devil begging to die after been cut on so long.
I don’t think the actual kiss was as disturbing as the shot after of Himeno drooling barf and then the one of Denji swallowing it. Hell of a place to end the episode though.
It's interesting how they've been ending every episode of Chainsaw Man since episode 3 on some kind of cliffhanger. Episodes just won't end after a climax or catharsis and the viewer is left off balance every time.
Yep, that's the moment where I got fully on board with this series.

There will basically be no time to breathe from here until the end of the series. Fix a brick to the accelerator.
I do think the end of the next chapter would have been a better cliffhanger, but the episode pacing didn't work out that way.
I don't have a lot to say about chapter 112 or episode 7 this week. I'm just really content with how everything is going and enjoying both immensely. I can't wait for Chainsaw Man Tuesdays (no chapter next week); they are my most anticipated day of the week for new media now.
My only real complaint so far is that this comic makes it really hard to tell when some characters are actually dead.
Like, people are losing arms and legs all over the place. In some cases, they get their fucking heads chopped off and just re-appear a few panels later. I have no idea when an attack is meant to actually be fatal.
