I assume that's where they make the peppermint patties so it's gotta be good right
the only time I've had a York peppermint patty is when there'd be a tub of them for 25 cents a piece or whatever at the checkout counter of some local restaurant, and I probably haven't seen something like that in...20 years?
absolutely no idea if they're actually any good or not

How are timeshares still a thing? They were already a known scam, like, 30 years ago.
It's the grim reality of statistics, my friend. In the thirty years since timeshares were widely known to be a scam, an additional 15,768,000 suckers were born, and 31,536,000 to take them.
Discovering televangelists were a thing primed me to be aware of how dedicated people are to being suckered at a young age. Trump was a refresher course for my adult life on the lack of a bottom

It's an hour 40 minutes so if you wanna skip to some crazy shit, start at 11:20 when they start going the wrong way down a busy street. 12:50 has a surprise taxi.
The camera man, Terry B is a legend.
Yes, they are kinda jerks. But also wild to watch.

Being someone from the midwest, I know how much it sucks where we have to travel upwards of an hour to reach a city large enough with a hospital... and things are getting worse due to the failure of our health infrastructure and supplies and such. The idea of having this kind of setup (including for things like farmer supplies) would be revolutionary.
I'm in favor of anything that gets us closer to the golden age of sky piracy.
in 1917 the german Zeppelin L 23 captured the norwegian barque Royal, in what is the closest thing to crimson skies style air piracy we've had so far

I only just got back into cycling (and recently has been my first real foray into fixed gear cycling) and I'm so bummed that I don't really know anyone to run the upcoming alleycats in my city with, but then I'm also definitely nowhere near this level of physically or mentally conditioned yet so that's probably a safe call
Finally I have a better understanding on why quantum computers are always brought up when it comes to cryptography (tl;dw, quantum computers are actually only good at solving very, very specific problems, our current encryption method just happens to be one of the few real life examples they're good at breaking. Potentially. If we ever make one big enough).
Popular fiction presents a very distorted view of what they actually do and they're too technical to just look up on your own without someone to simplify, unless you happen to have a math background.

S’america man
The bit about declining an inherited timeshare is wild. If you decline (by filing notice with the courts) it just goes to the next person.
Steam: Chagrin LoL: Bonhomie
neat
I have to agree with Joel here, that's a pretty fun voice.

there's something about a console/cockpit with lots of little toggles and buttons and switches and old electronic displays that is very satisfying
They're fantastic

This is why Steel Battalion was so damn good.
Also, the music on this video fucking slaps.

I went to York in 2000 as a 16 year old and thought it was rad. It was my favorite of the 5 or 6 cities in England I visited on that trip.
Need some stuff designed or printed? I can help with that.

This is exactly what I meant and you cannot disprove this
There’s something about an overly excited brass section wailing overtop of a super grungy electric guitar that is very satisfying
