I don’t think of these as covers. Technically they are but…those artists basically own those songs at this point.

When I was in my late teens and early 20s everyone I knew was crazy for this cover and I don't honestly get it

I even sang this version at a PAX karaoke once upon a time

I loved this song on their album, and didn't discover it was a Linda Ronstadt original until many months later when it got the "Runnin' Up That Hill" treatment from being featured in an episode of TLOU.
I think I prefer this cover to the original, but it's nice to discover all the different versions.

For a very different mood
I did not know this was a Bob Dylan cover for the longest time, but fell in love with it when I heard it on the album. It's probably still my favourite song by the band, and it's not even sung by the usual frontman. After I found out it was a cover, I went and listened to the original and have to say I did not care for it.
Covers are great.
