I'm very bad at fighting games, in general. I'm even worse on arcade machines, which often have wobbly, mis-calibrated joysticks and sticky buttons. But I'm not using those as an excuse. I am objectively bad even if I had the most perfectly calibrated equipment in existence.

I like watching fighting games, but they are like a combo of rhythm game and like button panic for me where I'll never be good enough to win.

Just do what I do and never even look at the multiplayer options. That has kept my enjoyment of fighting games somewhat intact.

The art design for SF6 seems less... grotesque? than SF5 so that's cool

SF6 is super horny though. Like we're not at soul caliber or dead and alive, but we're looking at them.

I would find a way to drop combos and choose the wrong approach even if the equipment was a literally a future tech direct brain link.
