Nearby Parking?

Of all the times I've gone to PAX West and Sakuracon, I've had rides to get dropped off (or hotels for Sakuracon), so I've never had to park before. We plan to drive up and park for the day, then go back home af the end of each day. But since we've never parked outside of the hotels before, we have no idea what parking is like in the area. I assume there's no free lots, but we also may not have that much money, so we'd like as cheap as we can get, but we need to be nearby enough to not have to walk too far. Can anyone help me with this and tell me about the nearby parking? Any info is helpful. Thank you.

yeah unfortunately I have also never parked in Seattle - Lots of construction in the last few years too, which may have changed the layout of parking in the area.

haven't seen that site before but it looks promising I guess?

Yeah i totally agree with @zerzhul that there is alot of construction going on and in last few years even if i see some of the places i don't recognize them.

Thank you for the replies. I forgot I posted this here cuz I also posted it in the facebook group page. I got answers there, and have 2 locations I can try. The con center itself (I didn't even know there was one there until someone mentioned it in the comments to that post), and the garage in the same building as the Sheraton's garage (which is across the street from the hotel).

My go-to for reliable and reasonably-priced parking near the convention center has always been the garage under Pacific Place, which is only 2-3 blocks away and is open almost all day. I stopped even trying to park at the convention center garage itself years ago because if you don't get in early enough it will fill up. They have an overflow garage close by but it's kind of a pain to get in and out of. I also just hate driving in the immediate vicinity of the convention center anyway, with so many people walking outside during a con it just gets super congested. Pacific Place is just far enough away to avoid that and still be a pretty short walk.
