Has the PAX reg drawing for Nintendo Live happened already?
Nintendo already did the drawing for the Nintendo.com-based registration. However, I'm pretty sure that the drawing for PAX registrants is a separate and additional opportunity to get tickets for Nintendo Live. The official PAX newsletter has been saying that July 7th was the last day to register and get into the drawing for a ticket. Does anyone know when the drawing will happen or if it will happen?
Also, Nintendo sucks for not just allowing every PAX attendee to attend Nintendo Live.
Yeah. I understand your frustration. I've been a nintendo everything member since forever, have been going to PAX since 08, live in Seattle and still didn't get picked. Not sure when pax does their drawing. And Not sure why they decided to give tickets to people who had no other obligations to be here. There are tons of comments online with people saying they just entered for fun and can't go, or people trying to sell qr codes. The warp pass never even had these issues. It'll be sad indeed if they don't fill the event and don't allow walk-ins.
I got it too, and so did all.my friends, so maybe they do have enough capacity for every PAX attendee that opted in.
The registration code doesn't seem to work, but everyone is reporting that, so maybe the system isn't active yet.
No, that is not the problem. The problem is, you cannot redeem a code on an account you entered into the draw through Nintendo for.
You will need to create a new Nintendo account to redeem your code.
Edit: Nintendo updated their site. You can redeem on your regular Nintendo account now.
As for success of people getting selected. I don't remember where I read this, But I think there was an equal number of Nintendo Live tickets available through PAX as available through Nintendo directly. Seeing as all badge types are still available, looks like demand is lower then in the past. However, hotels are booked solid like normal so unless that inventory went down, PAX demand from out of towners has dropped less then local demand.
Edit: Found the fine print from the PAX Registration process:
By checking this box I agree and acknowledge that I am entering into the PAX West 2023 "Nintendo® Live" Sweepstakes drawing, which is open to U.S. residents who are age eighteen (18) or older. Limit 1 entry per person. Odds depend on # of elig. entries. Begins 3:00 PM (ET) 5/31/23; ends 11:59PM (ET) 7/7/23. ReedPop will offer 5,000 total redemptions per event day for a wristband into the "Nintendo® Live" area. ERV: $0.00. Official rules at http://paxwest23.com/NLRules. Sponsor: Reed Exhibitions, a division of RELX Inc. d/b/a ReedPop.
I guess I lost the lottery (never heard anything back from PAX/Nintendo/ReedPop.) Too bad that PAX attendees weren't guaranteed a spot if they wanted one, but that's the PAX Nintendo experience for you - there are always fun-blocking issues such as requiring advance signups with no signups at the actual event, lines being perpetually capped, running out of pins, etc. Actually 2022 was one of the better show floor Nintendo experiences with the Splatoon tournament and demo, which I actually got to play. Hope people who won the chance to get a warp pass this year have fun!
Nintendo aside, there should still be a bunch of Switch games and gaming at PAX proper.

You're one of the lucky ones to get any warp pass. Have fun at the Mario concert!
