That were some fun games, Grinch. Also, the best goal ever, without any contest: I dropped three bombs on Grinchs player, who had just snatched the ball away from mine right next to his goal, and the explosion catapulted the ball into his goal
Very fun though, and quite evenly matched throughout! The first sudden death we went in to though, when you managed to get a super strike through, my hands were sweating!
starwind didn't answer me again this evening, so our second leg is still open. is this really the last game to go on the group round so far? If so, what shall we do? how much more time for starwind before i get a default win? if there are still other group rounds open, no problem...

Strikers does not want Starwind and I to play! 2 disconnects from his invite, when I try to invite it say 'It has not been confirmed this friend is in your region'
I just could not hold on to the ball! The moment I had it I was tackled, I never seem to be able to switch to the right guy in time to kill the receiver like you do. Had I managed to make acharged shot rather than crappy mega-strike I reckon that last game was going to extra time... I always let go too late when a normal shot would often be much better than a crappy rushed mega-strike.
Anyway, Starwind won't be able to play us both if he gets back so I'll leave him to you and check in later. A random game and the game against you have removed any worry I might have that it's my end causing problems.
Still no luck? I don't think Jammers has played Andy yet and Starwind has games left. I'll give it up until midnight tomorrow and then we'll sort something out and let the winners get on with playing their final matches (and claim their prize!).

The majority of games I try to play are either tremendously laggy or just get "connection lost" within a minute.
Very rarely do I get a good series of games.
I really cant see where the problem lies. My connection is 2mb and has always been very reliable.
Are there any particular router settings anyone can suggest changing?
I'm using a netgear WGR614.

It's not the end of the world if you can't as with the games thus far played it's pretty clear Duckter should win the group (equal points in my games vs Duckter, Duckter beat Starwind in one leg, Starwind beat me in one leg).
