Hi folks,
A lot of people aren't familiar with American geography and I think that's a shame.
This is a nation. With lots of places.
Now, I'm not an American myself, but I do live pretty close by, so even though I've never studied the exact geography myself, I've absorbed a perfect mental map of the United States through cultural osmosis (did you know Louisiana is shaped like a boot?)
So, come with me and learn a thing or two about the US of A. You might be surprised at what you don't know!
Now, what I've done is painstakingly label the most accurate map of the US that's ever been created.
How many states can you name? Hahaha, that was a good try.
Now, compare your answers to the correct ones below!

Since I made the map I have remembered Missouri, The Fact that it's North Dakota instead of just Dakota, and now Colorado of course because someone else already said it in the thread.

Australia moved to Europe in 2015.
To start, I’ve made a map of Australias states and territories, and some of our most important towns and regions. (I know people get confused about Australian state names so I’ve put those in boxes)
Also I’ve probably left off some of our other Aussie forumers hometowns and favorite spots, they should feel free to add to this map, or make a new and improved version
