PAX West is fast approaching, and we've finalized* the BYOC layout, so it's time to start getting things organized!
BYOC tickets are available
here. Remember that your BYOC ticket is an
add-on to your regular PAX ticket - you must have both. A BYOC ticket by itself will not grant you entry to the show.
Perhaps the biggest news this year is the entire PC department (including BYOC) is moving to Level 0 of the new(ish) Summit Building. Details on what that means for logistics will be sent out in the (e)mailer that usually goes out a week or so before the show.
As with the rest of PAX this year, masks are encouraged but not required.
With that out of the way...
Group seating registration is now open! I have to go setup a PAX so I'm closing group seating registration. See you all soon!
Seating chart:
* - as finalized as it ever gets. Things can change, and if they do we will do our best to keep everyone in equivalent spots.

Where are the restrooms located in regards to our new location? Will there be water available for us like there has been (sometimes) in the past so we can fill up water bottles?
Update: no bubbler specifically in the BYOC space, but the building has bottle filling stations. I can't be certain where the closest one is until I'm onsite, but they're usually around bathrooms, so fingers crossed there will be one nearby.
Looks like it's the OP of *every* thread ... see https://forums.penny-arcade.com/discussion/comment/46650116/#Comment_46650116 for updates for anyone wanting to track it being fixed
Unrelated: everyone who's purchased BYOC passes should have received an email with logistics details. If you haven't received it, hit us up at pax_pc@paxsite.com and we'll forward it on.
My questions.
If we park in the summit garage (our plan for the first day) do we have to go all the way around to the exhibitors entrance with our stuff or can we directly bring it in from the garage to level 0 (never been in this garage so I have no idea)?
Is there a separate line for queuing for byoc like there usually is?
Update: Should be fine to come in via the normal pathways to Level 1 and then down the elevators to Level 0 - afaik there's no direct link to Level 0 from the garage as everyone needs to go through security on level 1 first.
There is no separate line for BYOC this year, but hopefully as expo is in a different building the lines for summit won't be too bad first thing.
We're not seeing the "Game File Transfer over Network" option working at all (we're trying to install a new game that someone has suggested)
