What is your FAVORITE FORUM MEMORY
For me it was either the time a bunch of people changed their avatars to xenomorphs across like two days, a really good game of Werewolf a long time ago, and the last two months where everyone has been working to build a new forum.
are YOU on the beer list?

The above, but with the maze guy from Oglaf; a really good game of X-COM a long time ago (again, @Fishman ); and the last two months.
And one of the posts I'm still most proud of is at the top of this thread.
The only sour note is that I made it at the start of what turned out to be a really bad day.
The LDB smut
When Thanatos called the backwards B
When the hero will be called upon to save the mountain again
Blake’s wall-mounted 90-degree rotated washing machine
Etc
The other, just absolutely wonderful memory, was the Steam Thread Space Battle hosted by @akajaybay a decade ago. I still have the thing archived on my Google Drive

D&D Secret Santa was also great; I couldn't participate this year but I had a blast on either end for the years I did and I still have art and spices and headphones and all kinds of stuff that make me think fondly of my Santas
A Flock of Walrus got banned from Mechwarrior Online during its early testing due to leaking us screenshots so we christened the PA MWO group in their honor. Get some cool art, we get a funny story about our origins written, have lots of fun...
and then get fucking canonized in the official Battletech 2nd Succession Wars source book which also means we have a Sarna page

This incarnation of forums will close and we'll all eventually turn to dust but the Oosik Irregulars are eternal
getting jailed and banned a great many times
almost going to PAX 1 but my mom said i can't meet people from online
posting my broken jaw debacle
various splinter forums
forum battles but there were actual artists who are probably all famous now
having mental illness in public and having it catalogued forever. but before that was normal for everyone to do
having memories in a place for longer than any real place i lived in real life
just kidding it was winning a 15 (???) year game of x-com and being the sole surviving original member AND commander AND winning the game and killing the bad guy. eat shit, aliens
thank you fishman
One of my favorite memories at least. Too many to count.
Not here, no, a different bad forum before this
Satans..... hints.....
Am I being incepted
At some point the train trip was more fun than PAX itself.
edit: Remember when people who weren't part of our cult would walk into the downstairs arcade game room that we had hijacked with a rock band setup, and anyone older than 20 would be like grandpasimpson.gif out of the room because we were horribly uncool nerds, and then any random kids who wanted to participate were shunted to the front of the line and made to feel like the star of the show
I was literally just thinking of that movie yesterday
I have never seen it
That was real right ?
Man that game was a disappointment

When I got Gabe to endorse me for the Nintendo Street Team on the main page, so multiple threads appeared in the chat sub-forum trying to figure out who I was with titles like “WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU YOU SUNUVABITCH!”
When Gabe and Tycho got a question about the phorum at a PAX panel and their response was something along the lines of “we don’t know who they are or endorse any aspect of that place” leading to some serious self-reflection by the Mods and the forumers, eventually culminating in the Glorious Edict and a massive overhaul of who we were and how we operated.

oh my god ranger threads
i completely forgot lol
Yeah uh.
That was my question at the PAX.
I believe my exact line, as a melodramatic autistic guy running on pure exhilaration and fueled by the good times with the other mods and Nads, asked them why they had "Forsaken us, the forums."
THE CHEAT
Discussing logistics of that beautiful little island, someone in trying to defend that they weren't that quaint, claimed that they had multi-story buildings. Upon some quick research, it was discovered that the tallest building on PEI was ... maybe 10 stories. Without missing a beat, someone changed the thread title to, "We're all moving to the tallest building in PEI", or something like that.
Many, many great memories on these forums, but that was just such a moment of synchronicity and comradery, all coming together so seamlessly.
