Example
annoying dude: "Hooray we are 113 percent over our budget'
me: "Whuh What was your budget?'
annoying dude: "21,000 dollars"
me: "ANd how much did you make?"
AD: "27305 dollars."
me: "Oh, yeah, you aren't a hundred and thirteen percent over your budget, you made one hundred and 13 percent of your budget. Where you went wrong is using the word 'over'. If you want to say over it would be 'you made it over your budget by thirteen percent"
AD: "Well that is how every one says it around here so they understand me"
me: Blank stare
AD: Shrugg
me: Mumble "stupid forum razza frazzle grumble grrr"
It's not cool to make my life even that much more miserable legacy. If I make a spelling error either PM me or please just leave me alone. Thanks. We aren't friends. I do not know you. I do not enjoy the fact that you make little corrections to my spelling. And although it is totaly accepted behavior here I PERSONALLY take it as offence NOT that you correct my spelling but that it is your main source of interactions with me. Unless you want to share some other skill with me and take the time to teach it to me, besides the memorization of how words are spelled during this era, please leave me be. Thanks.

Put it this way. If you want to improve others so damn much go out and visit some orphans and widows. Correcting other peoples spelling mistakes is EASY and doesn't really reflect any superiority.

I'm not making it a superiority issue, I just correct things when they're presented and when they're a major peeve of mine. Sorry if it bothers you that people correct you all the time, but take the help and learn from it.
