So my band had our first show tonight. It was pretty awesome. It was my first time on stage with a band, and I nailed it.

Hey now. Whoa now. I still last longer than most of my yellow-hued brethren AND that was my first time throwing up EVER. Seriously though I'd never ever been THAT drunk before. It was quite a night.
Apparently the dude that was taking care of me knocked on my neighbor's door at like 4 am, headed out onto the guy's balcony and leapt onto mine from there to see if he could get in through my balcony door. Didn't take.
(Yeah I'd left my keys at the party we'd just left so what ended up happening was my friend who hosted the party had to bring my keys to us. At this point I was apparently out like a light so they had to carry me into bed and get me into the covers.)

I don't know. I guess I just never got THAT drunk. I was pretty bad at U of I though. Like, climbing the main doors to Foellinger and nearly falling right back down bad....
Maybe you didn't have friends that were jackasses. Two weeks into my frosh year, some kids from across the hall came over with a bottle of gin and told me to chug as much as possible. I'd never drank before, so I gave it the old college try, and who would have though, I was puking no less than 8 hours later!
Really, though, maybe you just didn't have asshole friends who encouraged you to get shitfaced. Either way, congrats. Frankly there are plenty of times where I'm happy I've thrown up; sometimes, it just feels a whole lot better once you've heaved up everything in your stomach.

After that night, I was unable to so much as sip gin for the next four years. However, today, a fine gin and tonic is my favorite drink of all; go figure.
More on topic, today I went to my first meeting at my new job as an employee rather than an interviewee.
So now they sound like robots.
