Phantom threads

I found them by setting the forum view to "The beginning" and sorting by first post (the column labels in the thread list). The posts listed have a last post of 38 years ago (I'm guessing the start of UNIX time - too lazy to calculate it).

They're probably harmless enough, but I thought it would be wise to bring them to the attention of our resident code ninjas in case they're part of a larger issue not yet discovered.

    I would guess they just failed to be rolled over correctly.

    Dare I bump one of them?

    it looks like somehow the thread title was carried over, but somehow the actual post and anything else relevant didn't make it

    so what you got was a "empty" thread that defaulted to the unix epoch, and for all intents and purposes you made the OP in that thread as a reply
