When I found out that the American show took the fight footage from the Japanese version and just spliced it in with the rest of the footage, I hated power rangers forever.

Yeah, the newer Power Rangers shows have ridiculously good fight scenes. I dare say they are quite kickass nowadays. (Sometimes I'm just too lazy to turn after getting my Digimon nostalgia fix)

Oh, and the Beetle Borgs were actually stolen from a japanese show. They rewrote the story completely and just used the fight scenes. The reason Beetle Borgs actually ended in the States was because there wasn't anymore combat footage to sample from

Why she'd admit to that, who knows.

And PGSM is all about the episode where Usagi, Rei, and Ami play basketball in street gear.

It'd never happen in the anime.
