This thread is for discussion, meetup arrangement, speculation as to just WHICH skimpy NE will win the costume contest, etc etc. Feel free to share stories from last year to illustrate what the con is like and what people who've never been can expect.

Five winners, each receive a pair of Blizzcon tickets and get their art displayed at the con.
Original Song Contest
One winner and two runners up get Blizzcon tickets and a laptop/sound card. Top winner gets to perform/play their song at Blizzcon. (Didn't there used to be a hardcore band named Frostmourne?)
Movie Contest
More details to come, but there will be different categories of Action-Adventure, Comedy, and Drama.
Professional Gamer Draft
2v2 Arena is going to be part of the CGS, or Championship Gaming Series. I never knew this thing existed. Apparently you can get paid an annual salary to sit around and nuke people in arenas for the entertainment of others. Top 16 teams from the Blizzard tourny will compete at Blizzcon, and the Top 8 get flown to some CGS event. Battleground ladders are here and again forum topic on this is here.
WSVG Contest
Compete in the World Series of Video Games (WSVG) World of Warcraft 3v3 Arena competition between July 5-8 in Dallas, Texas and you could win. Registered teams for the competition will automatically be entered into the drawing upon check-in. The award will include all-expense paid trips and admission to Blizzcon 2007 August 3-4 in Anaheim, California for three lucky players.

Starcraft II WILL BE PLAYABLE at Blizzcon via Demo Stations. Rumor has it Blizzcon attendees will also get a Starcraft II beta key, but Blizzard hasn't officially said what the beta key will be for yet.

You have the option to copy up to four level 68-70 characters to a special event realm to experience this content, which has not yet been seen on test realms."
