Man you guys rocked that. Seriously. The stuff you came up with was great, and choosing one winner was a huge pain in the ass... so I chose three! So without further adieu... the top three slogans were:

Viscount Alpha: For gamers, by gamers.

Moe_Fwacky: All Hail Ball!

Deiru: Would you like to play a game?

Viscount, Moe, Deiru - if you could all PM me your shirt size and address I'll have your prizes sent to you asap. Thanks everyone!

    I can snag some pics once they go up, I work right next to the convention center and hit up the streetfront Subway at the convention center at least twice a week for their samwhichy goodness.

    I think they go up in early August right?

    Nah, the giraffe truck gets to put them up. It's a decal/sign company's truck, with one of those buckets on an arm in the back... and the whole thing is painted/decal'd to look like a giraffe. I saw it in action last month. I saw it today on the way to my gym, presumably putting up July's banners.

    Eh, I figured it wasn't original but it worked well for the PAX slogan. Of course, I live in oregon. So I wouldn't know anything about that.

    You've got to be right. Khoo has never struck me as an exclamation point kind of guy. Maybe an ellipses would suit him better?

    Could someone let that subway know that they might be getting raped so they can stock up a bit? i mean a 30,000 convention should be enough of a warrant for them to *hopefully* stock more bread and stuff.

    Theres a pizza place and a taco delmar also inside the building. And you cant quite see in that picture, but beside subway is a crepe cafe.

    Looking up that street is capitol hill.

    I'd go out and take a pic of it, but it's rather dark out there now :) BTW, it's not just one banner per saying, there are like 8 or 10 banners hanging out there.

    There are conferences bigger than PAX that hit that convention center. I'm sure all the surrounding restaurants commonly talk with WSCTC staff to see what's coming up. I could be wrong, but I know that's what I'd do if I owned a place right there.

    By the way, I'm wondering how the talks with Gameworks across the street ended up going...

    Hopefully Gameworks finishes their remodel before PAX, it's rather cramped in there as it is (especially since they got a bunch of new games in right after they started).
