I keep getting questions about the Crowne Plaza and if its walking distance from the Convention Center. it all depends on how far you want to walk. The Plaza is to the North of Downtown and the Convention Center is to the south. I also recommend a map of Seattle if you are unfamiliar with the city, the convention center doesn't just stick out like in LA, it can be a tricky find.

The Closest major hotel/ motels to the Convention center are

The West Inn (closest)

The Sheraton (second closest)


I'm hoping this may help.


maybe google maps can help for maps if you need one.

    You got those reversed. The crown plaza is south of the convention center not north. The crown plaza is also 1 to 2 minute walk. 5 minutes if your a real slow walker and you have bad timing on the 3 pedestrian lights you walk through.

    What do you mean by Westin being the closest? It is four or five blocks away.

    Yeah sorry but the sheraton is the closest (about 300ft from wsctc door to sheraton door). then i think the hilton is the second closest then the crowne plaza.
