    I do not have to work this week, as I am going down to the beach, and requested off.
    On the schedule it says (vacation hours) over all my time slots.
    So of course, I'm woken up at 7:30 by my work asking me if I want to come in today.

    I get to work today. my schedule changes every 4 weeks.
    I do get 6 days off, from Thursday of this week until Tuesday of next. Then I get to work Wed->Sat for 4 weeks.

    It's cold and foggy in the summer and then warm and brown and muddy in the winter. My favorite comic book artists live here, which is fun. Halifax used to have a fun math rock scene when I was in high school, but now I'm old and crabby (read: 23) and hate seeing live bands so I don't know what the kids are listening to.

    It is alright, I guess. I think I wish I lived in Toronto or Montreal, but upon moving there I would probably wish I still lived in Halifax.
