Well, I'm officially a hardcore Special Student (that is a student which is neither, full-time, nor part time, and has no major) at Carleton.

Taking a Film Studies course which I plan to use as an elective when I get accepted Full-time.

Film Genres, focusing on Film Noir this term.

We watch a movie and then talk about it... that is every class...

Actually on campus right now, going to head to class soon.

Anyone else in school during the summer?

    boooo. i graduated scarily 4 years ago now with my degree. working sucks, you get no proper holidays, its pretty crap. thought the money is good i suppose, shame ive got no time to spend it.

    Going back to University of Missouri-Rolla in the fall for more Chemical Engineering. I'm one of like...six females there. Four of them are janitors.

    Oh, I'm sorry, forgot the name change: "Missouri University of Science & Technology". I guess they'll call us 'musties' now instead of 'nerds'.

    I'm not taking summer classes, but working two jobs instead, 50 hours a week. D: I am so glad I've got a bit of booze-soaked convention to enjoy in a few days, it's going to be my one vacation for the summer.

    I got a job at a state school.
    I can take 6 free credits a semester, starting after my first year.

    I have a BA in Computer Informations Systems (MIS some places).
    I can not get a MA from the same school in the same subject.

    I don't know what classes I want to take.

    i just got the results for my last bit of coursework

    got high distinctions in both the creative writing seminar and literary theory

    (that means my abilities are highly distinct)

    I took a Journalism class...

    ...and forged or lied about many of my first person accounts/interviews.

    I felt kind of bad about that.

    But as a plus, I got to do some creative writing!

    everybody should take as many creative writing classes as possible

    i've done seven now throughout undergrad and postgrad and i've loved every one
