PAGE THREE: The Skrull continues tO drone on as Kitty and Buddy begin to have a conversation. I don't really care how the panels are aligned, although I've tried to figure it out for myself (it didn't go well). Each panel should have a line from the Skrull, to show just how long he is talking. This could maybe be stretched out over two pages if you need it to.
Panel One: Kitty's brow is furrowed and her arms are crossed. Animal Man is standing with his back to the camera.

Just to threadjack for a second: if anyone here isn't watching Flight of the Conchords on HBO, I demand you go watch it immediately. HBO has all the episodes available On Demand, and it's just one of the funniest things on TV. Apropos, the episode a week or two ago had Bret (one of the eponymous characters) dreaming of David Bowie in his various incarnations including Ziggy).
I finally started drawing some damn pictures. I'm staying away from the standard comic book / panel format, with one or two big pictures per page. Light on the dialogue, and backgrounds as well. I also suck at drawing legs, so torso's it is!
Here's a little preview. It all goes down hill from here...in terms of quality that is.

Cyclops vs. Nova will take place tomorrow, along with the Orphan vs. Smax, so all contestants have until tomorrow night t complete and send their entries in, or I'll just post what I have.

Geebs, is there any policy related to bonus content? I have an extra page at the end that really doesn't relate to the battle, and I'm not sure whether or not to include it.

I'm going to extend the deadline for the next matches by a week, and the one after that by a week. This may result in the loss of a wild card round, but I'd rather have some entries make it in. I'll update the schedules later.
